Yeah, this is somewhat off-topic, but I came to crime fiction (and eventually Parker) through the pulps, and I know I’m not the only one.
The movie isn’t very good, but it’s the only attempt to film Doc Savage to date (if you don’t count Buckaroo Banzai), so I’ll happily replace my old VHS tape with this new DVD.

While looking up something for this post I came across these great fantasy Doc Savage covers. Alas, no Parker.
Back to Parker stuff soon. I’ve got a write-up on Slayground coming, plus I hope to watch the movie version this week and write that up, too.
